Learning Goals

By the end of the class students will be able to:

  1. Introduction to palentology, stratigraphy, and radiometric dating
  2. Explain and understand how surface processes change and influence erosion and weathering
  3. Understand climate changes and man as a geological agent
  4. Understand thephysica, chemical, biological, and plate tectonic evolution of the earth's crust, seawater, and atmosphere
