Over his lifetime, Phillip was a member of several organizations, including the American Legion, Eagles, Republican Central Committee, Tobacco Root Geological Society and the North West Mining Association. Through his writings, research and dedication, Phillip became well known, and highly respected in the geological community.
Phillip is survived by his beloved sons, Nathaniel Hart, Aaron Francis and Benjamin Andrew, his ex-wife Marian, his parents, Andrew and Haroldine Nisbet, sister, Gwyneth, and his brothers, Andrew II, and Kevin. He is also survived by Erica Rossomando and many loving nieces and nephews.
